*Project 52*

If you are not familiar with project 365 then you should really look into it. Project 365 is is a photography/digital scrapping project. You take photos everyday and if you scrap you can make layouts with them. If you are like me and are super busy then P365 maybe to big of a commitment for you. Go for a P52!!! P52 is just taking one photo per week and scrapping that Instead of a photo everyday.(You dont have to scrap your photos but I encourage you to do so!) I  joined a group on Facebook  and I am participating in her P365/52 challenge.Come join us HERE! I am also involved with the community at Brownie Scraps. This is one FAB-U-LOUS Community to be a part of! There is always something awesome going on over there.  They hold Challenges every month and if you complete them you receive awesome coupons for the designers products! You can find challenges HERE.  I have gotten a ton of LO's done when I get to participate in them.

Here is my first week Photo: Theme: Spirit
My Take On Spirit:

Ramona the Pest has started the Scrap Your Story Project. The motive behind this project is to get you scrapping and documenting your everyday life. Not just the big moments, but the simple mundane everyday things. I am so excited to do this project, and I really hope by the end of the year I have many layouts to print in to an album. I printed my first album this year for our family's dirty Santa game (My grandmother got the book =))

Ramona also has a couple of awesome kits that you can use for your own P365/52.
Several other designers also have kits available for this project.

I have also started on a personal goal that I plan on scrapping.  I have decided that I no longer want to be the  "Fat Girl"!!! I have a goal to lose all the yucky weight I have gained over the past few years. My goal weight is 125 (I'm 5 foot nothing and a half) My starting weight was 175... Do the math that's 50 pounds! *Gasp* Now they way I am going about this is SLOWLY. It took me a wile to put it on and it will take me a wile to get it off.

What I'm Doing
* I am setting small attainable goals.
* I am sticking to a 1200ish calorie diet
*NO SODA! Water only.  I haven't drank a Coke in 5 day!
* I will force myself to work out.  In thinking Wii Fit
* I will praise myself for a job well done. And I will keep this confidence in myself that I have recently found. I will use my online friends and my family for the support I need!
I will be using this Kit to scrap my weight loss journey!  The Climb

Do you have a weight loss story? I would LOVE to hear it! You can comment here or email anytime! Just use the contact button at the top of the page =)

*A New Year* A New ME!*

Hi everyone! We are starting a brand new year, and that means those lovely New Years Resolutions that seem to never get done! Well on my part anyway. This year I decided not to set a resolution per say... But I chose to set goals! I feel like if I set small goals then I will have a better outcome! Originally this blog was created  so I could share with you the crazy life I lead living on a farm. It has turned into more than that now and I'm glad, but I would love to get back to my original plan! =). So in the next few weeks dont be surprised to see some changes around here. I want my blog to be a place you can come and have a laugh!  I myself haven't laughed... I mean really LAUGHED in a long time. It is time to get back to that place in my life.

Some of my goals for the new year are:
*I want to do well in my collage classes this semester
*Get my Photography Business to the place it needs to be
*Take more photos of my own children
*Save more for things we want
*Lose my 50lbs and get off the Diabetes meds!
*Scrap and actually print 1 year albums for both kids!
*Blog as much as I can

What are your goals and resolutions for the new year? I would love to hear all about them! Comment them here or email them to me! I love to read other peoples stories!

I am recovering well form my knee surgery. I hope I never have to do that again! It was painful and PT was no fun. The DR. did say if I dont lose some weight than in a year I will be back. So its diet time for me! (Rolls Eyes) I have a plan that I will be starting on this week and I will be blogging about my progress. Stay tuned.... I hope to see a lighter me! I will also be posting before and afters (YaY!! Everyone always loves those right?)

School News:
Hello! I only have um 3 more classes until I'm finished with this semester! Go me! So far I have 1 A  and 2 really high B's. So I have about 2 more years until I get my teaching degree.

Aside from all that... Life is going pretty good. We are just super busy this time of year.

All Abord!! Blog Train!

Hello!

Well once again it has been a very busy month for me. With school, A trip to Branson (Moor to come on that), and knee surgery that I am still recovering from it has been hard to get on here and post. I had the pleasure of participating in a "design school" over at Brownie Scraps this month, and I have to say I really enjoyed it! I enjoyed it so much that I signed up for the November classes. They sell out very fast so be sure and check it out. There are limited spaces. For this month we put together a mini using a color pallet. Keep checking back on my blog to get more freebies as I design more and more kits... who knows maybe I will be as good as my awesome mentors one day... for now here is my part of this awesome blog train!
